Dr. Rock Maffio

Dr Rock is 35 years old. Living the dream and here for you six days a week. With no wife and no kids – Rock plans on having more Camaros. They are his motivation for being the best chiropractor around.

Every chiropractor is different – and it is best to find one that you resonate with and that can understand you. Rock does his best to be humble and hates talking about himself as well as updating the website, but here are a few things that patients might want to know:

Rock has a strong karate background. He began training in martial arts at the age of 5 and went on to compete at the state and national level until attending chiropractic college. This helps to explain his level of discipline and the high standards that he holds himself to. It also gave him first hand experience understanding the types of conditions he wanted to manage – sprains, strains, and concussions.

Rock graduated from Washington High School in 2006. He began Chiropractic College at Life University and graduated as the youngest in his class in 2012.

He has been practicing at MCS since opening in 2013.

Rock has food allergies. Undiagnosed, they gave him a whole host of health issues growing up. He further learned while in college that he was not only allergic to chicken/turkey, but soy as well. He currently follows a strict avoidance diet.

His mother’s side of the family has a strong history of Multiple Sclerosis, so Rock had a special interest in his Neurological Diagnosis classes and the management of such diseases.

His father has terrible arthritis and disc herniations from working on cars for years. Rock has added a special table to the practice for low back motion and disc health – perfect for such cases. It’s called a Cox flexion/distraction treatment.

Rock got Lyme disease after what he thought was a great fishing trip in the middle of nowhere sometime 2021. It was a very bad case. He had one recurrent episode the following year that needed treatment. He has since not had any issues requiring treatment in 2023. His experience has further influenced his recommendations on the matter.

Rock loves doing it all. In the office and out. His current project outside of the office is restoring a 1971 Camaro with his dad.

It’s not work if you love what you do. And Rock really loves being a chiropractor.
